Overview
Support Workers play a key role in helping adults live independently, safely and confidently in their homes or supported living environments. You will provide practical support, promote wellbeing and encourage active participation in community life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support with daily living activities such as meals, routines and community engagement.
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing in every interaction.
- Record accurate notes, reports and observations in line with company policy.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in care or support work is helpful but not essential.
- Caring, patient and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
