Business Manager – Healthcare Staffing & Recruitment

Crestwood Care Limited provides healthcare staffing and support services to care homes, supported living services and other health and social care organisations. We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Manager to support the growth of our staffing operations. The successful candidate will oversee client engagement and onboarding, agency worker recruitment, candidate placement and the development of ongoing relationships with healthcare clients. This is a hands-on part-time role suited to someone with previous agency recruitment experience who understands both the client and candidate sides of the recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with care homes and other health and social care organisations.
  • Contact prospective clients and introduce Crestwood Care Limited's staffing services.
  • Manage enquiries from prospective and existing clients.
  • Support new-client onboarding and agency supplier-registration processes.
  • Understand clients' staffing requirements and identify suitable workers for available shifts and assignments.
  • Recruit Care Assistants, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.
  • Source, screen and interview suitable agency candidates.
  • Coordinate candidate registration and ensure required recruitment information is obtained.
  • Match suitably qualified and experienced workers to client requirements.
  • Manage temporary, short-notice, ongoing and block-booked staffing assignments.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and agency workers.
  • Follow up on vacancies, placements and outstanding staffing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and client records.
  • Provide regular updates on client engagement, candidate recruitment and successful placements.
  • Help develop Crestwood Care Limited's client base and agency workforce.

Essential requirements

  • Applicants must have previous experience working in agency recruitment.
  • You should also have:
  • Experience recruiting and placing temporary or agency workers.
  • Good understanding of the recruitment process from candidate sourcing through to placement.
  • Experience communicating professionally with business clients.
  • Strong telephone and email communication skills.
  • Confidence approaching prospective clients and developing business relationships.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage candidates and client requirements simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities within limited weekly hours.
  • Good computer skills and confidence using email, spreadsheets and recruitment/client-management systems.

Experience requirements

We are looking for someone who combines recruitment experience with a business-development mindset. You should be comfortable speaking with both clients and candidates and able to move an opportunity from initial client contact through to worker placement. This role may suit an experienced Recruitment Consultant, Healthcare Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Account Manager, Staffing Coordinator or Recruitment Business Manager looking for a flexible part-time position.
